Notes on Thoughts on Gatsby (Chapter 5)

•Gatsby is really nervous seeing Daisy again 

• Daisy is crying over “shirts “ but she’s really crying over Gatsby of not seeing him in 5 years & their lost love 

• Gatsby bought the house he lives in so that he can see Daisy’s house 

• The Author describes Daisy as a innocent character 

• The weather is a way to show the reader how it’s a messy situation & maybe showing how they feel.
