How You Know What I Know

After reading a couple of pages on, “The Great Gatsby” I have learned somethings that I can relate to in my actual life or as others say “the real world.” For example, when Gatsby had a party & had a lot of people come over, people were talking about him in his own environment. No matter who you talk to or even suggest bringing around in your own life, people will always talk and especially make assumptions about you. Why? I don’t know people will always have a reason or no reason to talk. Since, when was it a bad idea to keep everything to yourself? People often judge to quickly before getting to know the actual person. Another thing I’ve learned about this book was, choose your friends wisely & carefully they have a married couple and having an affair with people they know. It’s sad about the disrespect and the betrayal, it makes me think so much about that, you can have a friend over and you can be in the next room & they’ll be backstabbing you in your own home. It just shows peoples or characters true colors & what their true intentions.
