On Self- Reliance Part 2
Notes I took in class were: amuse means inspiration.
The author wants us: to believe in ourselves & not giving yourself any doubt.
- the author realized that us being ourselves & thinking out loud , is a true & good for you & it’ll be kept in your own private heart.
Admonition is someone or something that doesn’t listen & tells you exactly what they’re thinking.
Toil- to work extremely hard
Another thing that the author stated was, we should admire & be open to our thoughts.
& that we should never place someone’s thoughts before ours.
Quaesiveris - do not look outside for yourself.
Enainent- is well known that for its original & not conventional.
A quote I think was inspiring was, “our acts our angels are or food or ill” meaning our acts determines on our way of seeing things.
